Argentina this years supposed to be in the Copa America cup but unfortunately they will withdraw . in the following the squad they supposed to play with in that cup , so maybe it will be the same squad in the next qualifications round .

THE ARGENTINIAN NATIONAL TEAM:
Argentina is one my favorite national teams and on of the ten leading in the world, they have many great forwards and midfielders too and today they r one of the most strong teams in the world, that many think they are one of the strongest nominees for the world cup title in 2002 along with France. In the following lines I will talk more about the few last years that Argentina been to:
1- The world cup 94: they only reached the quarterfinal, and couldnt make it to the semi final. And it this year they lost Maradonna forever, he played the games of the first round but then kicked out after drug problems.

2- The world cup 98: again they were satisfied by making it to the quarter final, they were kicked of by Holland who didnt win another game from the 2 they played after this game in that cup.

3- Copa America 1999: again they were satisfied with the quarter final, the lost 3 penalties in one game in that cup, by one player who is Marten Palermo, he is one of the best, but the shock of the game made him out, we didnt see him again in the first team unfortunately.

4- Copa America 2001: they withdraw from it leaving all the way to Honduras.

Argentina is a team that dont need more players to gain trophies, they have more than enough players, even the substitutions r the best and playing in the best leagues of the world.. Such as: GABRIEL BATISTUTA, KILY GONZALES, DIEGO SIMIONI, CLAUDIO LOPEZ, HERNAN CRESPO, CARLOS ROA, JUAN SEBASTIAN VERON.

One of the leading leagues in the world, as everybody knows the European leagues r the best, and attracting the best players in the world to play with them, but still the Argentinean league have a good reputation among the leagues of the world, not to mention that it have one of the best clubs of the world like river plate and Boca juniors

*RIVER PLATE: one of the best they gave the birth of Salas the great Chilean forward , and Chilavert one of the best goalkeepers in the world if not was the best at all these days , the gave the birth also to many local players such as Veron and Lopez and many . The have many local trophies and Libertadores titles as well.

*BOCA JUNIORS: the team of Maradonna and Martin Palermo, the other big power in Argentinas league.
